Oh boy. This is one of those PC things that sound great on paper but in the real world just doesn’t quite work out the same way. If asking men out would have men just so grateful and ready to worship us for taking the pressure off then you’d see more relationship success stories begin that way.
The reality is that you just end up going on more pity dates. These guys are thinking about attractive girls they have their eye on asking them out which is great but what if it’s dumpy Sarah who works in the next cubical over? You don’t want to hurt her feelings but you aren’t really that attracted to her so you say yes and realize it’s just not going to happen and fade away as men are much more conflict avoidant. A girl would be more likely to say thanks but no thanks and end it there.
It’s not a shocker it’s the guys wanting the girls to ask them out, pay for their dates and basically hold their hand through the whole courting process calling girls entitled then acting offended that girls don’t dig overly passive men. Pot kettle black.
